MASSAGE ENVY DONATES $20,000 TO MASSAGE THERAPY FOUNDATION
Funds Will Support Research on Massage and its Health
Benefits
Scottsdale, Arizona - June 2, 2008- Massage Envy Ltd.,
LLC., America's leading provider of therapeutic massage services,
has donated $20,000 to the Massage Therapy Foundation's (MTF) research
grant program.The check was presented to Diana Thompson, President
of MTF and Dr. Ruth Werner, Vice-President of MTF at the American
Massage Therapy Association Washington Chapter Conference.
The donation will support foundation grants awarded to
researchers who strive to advance the understanding of specific
therapeutic applications of massage, public perceptions and
attitudes toward massage therapy, and the role of massage therapy in health care
delivery.
