Massage Envy Franchising, LLC Signs 70 New Franchise Agreements and Opens 43 New Clinics Since January This Year
National Leader of Massage and Spa Services Opens Clinic in
44th State
Scottsdale, Ariz. (September 13, 2011) -
Massage Envy Franchising, LLC -- the pioneer and national leader of
affordable and convenient massage and spa services -- announced
today continued growth in 2011, selling a total of 70 franchises
and opening 43 clinics since January 1st.
The company also marked another milestone when it opened a
Massage Envy Spa in Sioux Falls, South Dakota - the 44th state in
which the brand has established a presence. In addition, Massage
Envy recently signed a new multi-unit regional development
agreement in Alaska with Gregg and Debbie Olsen.
This recent growth brings the total number of Massage Envy
clinics to 699 in the U.S., making it the largest system of
franchised massage clinics in the industry. This year, Massage Envy
average unit volume surpassed $1 million and experienced
year-over-year growth of 25 percent.

Also, during the second quarter of 2011, the company named Dave
Crisalli as president of Massage Envy. Crisalli, who has served as
COO of Massage Envy since 2004, recently assumed the additional
role of president and will lead the company's continued growth and
success. During his tenure as COO, Crisalli has led Massage Envy's
day-to-day operations.

joins the team as director of franchise sales. Both play an

including the franchisee fee.
