Below are the brand standards, which Massage Envy franchised locations are required to follow to help protect the wellbeing of every member, guest, and employee.
- All Massage Envy franchised locations are required to ensure their employees have completed training in infection control & prevention
- Please contact your Massage Envy franchised location for information about their mask requirements and other protocols they may have in place related to the prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
Between every session and service, Massage Envy franchised locations are required to:
- Remove & replace all sheets. Clean replacements are stored in closed cabinetry.
- Disinfect all surfaces that may have been touched or handled during the service with products registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for Use Against Emerging Enveloped Viral Pathogens.
- All equipment and tools that may have been used in the service are disinfected per the manufacturer’s instructions.
Massage Envy franchised locations must also:
- Require all employees to practice good hand hygiene, including regularly washing their hands with warm water for at least 20 seconds, including before and after touching members or guests.
- Ensure that 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer is available in all treatment rooms and other key locations for use by all employees, members or guests.
- Change air pads and filters regularly according to manufacturer’s directions.
Closely monitor the CDC’s designated safety watch and warning levels and implement additional measures as appropriate
