At Massage Envy, we are looking for skilled and compassionate Massage Therapists to join our team and provide high-quality, therapeutic massage services to our members and guests. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Exceptional Massage Therapy Services: Perform a variety of massage techniques based on clients’ needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other modalities as requested.
• Create Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess client needs and provide customized treatments tailored to their preferences and wellness goals.
• Maintain Professional Standards: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for both clients and staff.
• Build Client Relationships: Create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere for each client, making them feel comfortable and valued.
• Promote Wellness Education: Educate members about the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide self-care recommendations to improve their overall well-being.
• Client Retention: Encourage clients to maintain regular massage routines by explaining membership benefits and scheduling future appointments.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other therapists, management, and front desk staff to create an outstanding experience for our guests.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Document client treatments and progress to ensure accurate and up-to-date health and wellness information.

Qualifications:

• Valid Massage Therapist License: Have a minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy school and a certificate of completion with up-to-date licensing requirements to perform services in the state of Virginia
• Experience providing therapeutic massage in a professional setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is excited to bring their unique style to the treatment room.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide a comfortable, personalized experience.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform massage therapy services for long periods of time while maintaining energy and focus,  eager for growth and desire to build on their modality mastery
• Team-Oriented: Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Professional Demeanor: Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
